Agreed.  Talk to an independent dealer so they can compare rates among different companies.  Progressive can do this online also, I believe.

I think Progressive will likely give you better rates than GEICO will (doesn&#039;t mean they will be the BEST rates possible).  I&#039;ve been with Progressive &quot;on and off&quot; from ages 18-21 (tough times, don&#039;t ask) and was a steady customer from 22 to present (i&#039;m 25).  They were the only company that would insure an 18 year old driver and I&#039;ve never had an independent agent.  I pay about 960 a year (renews every 6 months so its like 480) currently with automatic payments from my account.  I&#039;m in Colorado with a 98 Chevy Blazer 4x4 with full coverage and not financed.  My license has been suspended for no insurance in a no-fault accident, and I have a speeding ticket for 60 in a 35 to give you an idea of my record.</description>
