how do you go about buying a police auction car or an insurance company owned car?

I don’t live near Columbus but I’ve attended auctions and I know you have to know your cars and prices before you go or you’ll end up paying too much. Police impound auctions actually give you a better chance of getting a good deal because there aren’t so many car dealers there bidding against you. Here’s more about it:
